My valve shows the “low batteries” symbol. What should I do? How do I replace the batteries?
When your valve shows the “low batteries” symbol, it’s time to:
-
replace the batteries (for battery-powered valves), or
-
recharge the valve (for rechargeable EasyPelt valves).
Follow the section that matches your model.
1) Battery-powered valve, no display
Compatible batteries
This valve uses 2 × AA 1.5 V non-rechargeable batteries.
Important: do not use rechargeable batteries (1.2 V). They do not provide the required voltage and may cause unstable operation or reduced battery life.
Replacing the batteries
-
Open the cover from the underside.
-
Replace the batteries, following the polarity markings on the valve.
-
Close the cover.
If the red LED flashes after replacing the batteries
-
Press briefly (one click) the button with the spanner/tool symbol.
-
The red LED should stay on steadily, then turn off after a few seconds.
