Frequently Asked Question

My radiator heats up all the time, what can I do?
Last Updated 2 years ago

Check if the valve is not in error (communication delays or mechanical error). If an error is present, correct it before continuing:

If the valve is not in error, reset the valve by following the procedure in My valve shows the "mechanical error" symbol so that it detects the open and closed position of the valve body again. If this still does not solve the problem, remove the Snugr valve and replace it with a conventional thermostatic valve, then close it as far as possible. If the radiator is still heating, then the problem is with your valve body. Either it is seized in the open position or it needs to be replaced.
