Are Snugr EasyPelt valves compatible with my radiator?

Snugr EasyPelt valves are compatible with the vast majority of radiators available on the market.

To install a Snugr EasyPelt valve, your radiator must be fitted with a thermostatic valve body, meaning:

• it allows the installation of a thermostatic valve head,

• usually identified by a control numbered from 1 to 5.

Compatibility without adapter

Snugr EasyPelt valves are compatible without any adapter with the following standard:

• M30 × 1.5

This standard is used by many common brands, including:

• Heimeier

• Honeywell

• Buderus

• Comap

Compatibility with adapter

If your existing thermostatic valve uses a different standard, a metal adapter will be required.

This applies in particular to some models from:

• Danfoss

• Giacomini

• Oventrop

• Comap (M28 × 1.5)

Adapters ensure proper mounting and optimal valve operation.
