Frequently Asked Question

My radiator doesn't heat up, what can I do?
Last Updated 2 years ago

The temperature control follows a complex algorithm; however, if a small flame is indicated on the zone, this indicates that at least one valve in that room is partially open.

If the valve is in the open position but the hot water is not flowing, first check that the boiler box is on heat demand and that the batteries in the boiler box are not flat (see the "Settings - Devices" page in your Snugr interface). If the box is on heat demand and communicating correctly, and your boiler is on and delivering hot water but not to this radiator, remove the valve and check that the valve starts to heat:

If not, then your valve body is probably faulty or seized in the closed position. It needs to be unsealed. It may also be necessary to recalibrate the valve. Go to the paragraph My valve shows the "mechanical error" symbol.

If the radiator heats up, the valve was in the closed position. Repeat the procedure to initialise the valve. Go to the paragraph My valve shows the "mechanical error" symbol.
