Frequently Asked Question

How do I start the calibration procedure for my valve?

Depending on the type of valve you have :

  • EasyPelt valve v1.2 (without battery):
    1. Press the button for 10 seconds, you'll see the red LED light up and then go out, then release.
    2. Wait a few seconds, then press the button for 3-4 seconds (release before the red light appears). You should hear and/or feel the valve move; it will open fully (you can then re-attach the valve to the radiator if you had removed it) to allow installation on the valve body.
    3. Press the button once briefly for the valve to bind and initialise.
    4. Wait a few seconds and then press the button again briefly.
    5. Then confirm on the interface that the valve has initialised correctly by going to the "Settings - Devices" page and checking that you can see a small green "V" next to the valve. If not, repeat step 4.
  • EasyPelt valve (without battery):
    1. After attaching your valve to the valve body, press both buttons for 10 seconds, you will see the lights flashing.
    2. Wait a few seconds and then press one of the two buttons for 5 seconds (the green light will flash twice) and check if the valve has communicated in the interface.
    3. Press once briefly on one of the two buttons for the valve to initialise (measurement of the valve body needle amplitude) and the messages sent by the valve are more frequent (every 10 sec for 10 min).
  • EasyPelt Cube Valve (without battery):
    1. After attaching your valve to the valve body, press the button for 10 seconds, you will see the red LED flash once.
    2. Wait a few seconds and then press the button twice quickly (the red light will flash once) and check if the valve has communicated with the interface.
    3. Press once briefly on the button for the valve to initialise (measurement of the valve body needle amplitude) and the messages sent by the valve are more frequent (every 10 sec for 10 min).
  • Snugr valve (without display):
    1. Press the button with the antenna symbol on the valve once to drain the remaining energy.
    2. Replace the battery and wait until the red light flashes.
    3. Reattach the valve by tightening it by hand.
    4. Press the button with the spanner symbol briefly (just a click). The red light should be steady and then go out after a few seconds. If the red light never appeared, the batteries are probably flat. Change the batteries and repeat the procedure.
